- Detection of Forgery and Counterfeit: Identifying freehand, traced, simulated forgery, and counterfeit documents.
- Ink, Paper, and Printing Techniques: Analyzing different types of inks, paper, and printing techniques used in documents.
- Digital Document Examination: Techniques for examining scanned, photocopied, and digital documents, including metadata analysis.
- Case Studies and Real-Life Applications: Analyzing real-life questioned documents to identify forgery, alterations, and authenticity issues.
Participants will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with forensic tools, such as magnifiers, microscopes, and UV/IR light sources, during practical sessions. These sessions will provide the necessary skills for identifying document alterations and verifying document authenticity.
