Introduction
The Government of India recently introduced the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS), Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bhartiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA) to replace the colonial era Indian Penal Code (IPC), Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC), and Indian Evidence Act (IEA), respectively. These new laws emphasize modernization, technological integration, and a citizen-centric approach to criminal justice. This certification course is designed to familiarize participants with these new criminal laws and their applications in forensic science.
