Definition and types of death – natural, unnatural, sudden death; suspended animation; moment of death; brain death.
Class 5:
Modes of death – coma, syncope, asphyxia; manner of death – natural vs. unnatural; time since death

Medico-legal aspects and causes of death – asphyxia, starvation, electrocution, accident-related deaths; drowning – Diatom test, Gettler test, and chemical tests.
